Senate Bill, 2906 allowing local regulation of pit-bull ownership is a marvelous piece of legislation. One problem I see with the bill is that it does not go far enough.

Dog owners are under the misguided impression that their dogs are "human" and therefore have the same rights as humans. Dog owners must realize that dog ownership is a revocable privilege and not a right.

The problems created by the existence of domestic dogs in our communities are pandemic. The elderly and the public at large are intimidated by and defenseless against dogs being walked on long leashes and those that roam freely on our streets. Dog waste is left behind or discarded in plastic bags into the pub lic sewer systems, clogging the drain basins. Not to mention the excessive barking that selfishly disrupts the quality of life of all.

In almost all cases, domestic dog ownership is purely for the gratification of the dog owner and rarely provides any positive contribution toward improving the quality of life for their neighbors. In fact, it only serves to place their neighbors at risk. Toleration of the "involuntary" exposure to the health and safety risks caused by domestic dogs can be juxtaposed to the issue of "second hand smoke" being tolerated by nonsmokers.

The citizenry of all communities must support Senate Bill 2906. The bill should be amended to place restrictions on dogs like those imposed on smokers. Dogs of all breeds should be restricted to their owners’ homes or to areas not utilized by the general public.
How about this?

1 Star Poor quality for a high price
I bought this product about 3 mos ago and use it (max) about 3 times a week to bring my 14.1″ laptop back and forth to work- pretty light use. All ready the laptop sleeve seams have started to tear, the leather shows significant wear, and the bag has no solid insert in the bottom, so despite the cute little protective buttons on the buttons on the bottom, the minute you put your laptop in, the bag bottoms out. For the price, would put this on a recommended list, though it’s a cute bag.

It is very sturdy, has lots of pockets for my pens and things and the computer compartment is well padded. But what I love the most is its feel and look. Very well made.

The bag is very nice except i have to struggle to fit my laptop in it. If you have a smaller laptop it would be perfect but mine is just a little too big. Other than that, the bag itself is very nice!

i was disappointed…..my 15in. laptop would not fit and zip up. the quality of the product was good but was advertised to fit up to 17in. laptop and wouldn’t even accomidate a 15incher. i’ll be giving mine away when i find someone who can use it.

This a quality product and looks fabulous! My HP Pavilion dv7-1245dx, fits in it, however, with no room for the power cord. I am willing to carry the cord separately, though, cause it looks so great–unique and feminine!

1 Star Shoddy Product, I Returned…
This product is such a beautiful color and pattern, I was sorely disappointed to have to return it. The pink Mobile Edge MEPFCX-L Faux-Croc Portfolio to my surprise had bits of thread hanging from the stitching. How did this make it out of quality control?

The shoulder strap attaches in a weird way, on two different silver (cheap looking) buckles attached diagonally on the outside of the bag. The inner hard form form and liner were dented in the one I received and super thin. It also had this weird cheapo black carry handle that had to be tucked inside the bag. Also, the portfolio was too small to hold anything other than my laptop and the electric cord (just barely would fit… power packs aren’t tiny). How can I travel without a few files, or at least a small book?

Frankly the bag wasn’t durable (again cheap) or padded well enough to entrust my new laptop to. Aaargh! Shoddy product, I returned… for nearly $14 in shipping. What a waste of resources, surprising since the other reviews were so positive. I would have been happy if this product cost $22, but happiness was not to be had for the admission cost of $44.

I will search for a bag, probably more costly, and may forego lovely pink, in order to get something that is much more functional, well made and will last!

4 Stars Eye-catching Sexy!
This bag is sexy, feminine, and chic. The only problem I have is that I think it should have the carrying handles on the outside which makes it more functionable to carry and made from the faux-croc. The handles that stores inside makes this laptop bag look cheap.

Bought this for my brand new 17-inch Macbook Pro, and it works perfectly for me. I can also put my Bose headphones case in the main compartment and still have plenty of room. I also love the way it looks and the little alien on the front! Overall, great bag for me.

3 Stars Not the best for a 17 inch screen.
Nice product, but my 17 inch alienware laptop does not fit in the designated area, and when i force it, it is near impossible to get the computer back out.

You can put it in the inside of the bag, outside of the laptop compartment, but this keeps you from being able to use all the little compartments, for fear of smashing their contents or scratching up your computer.

If you say it will fit a 17 inch laptop, it should fit.

3 Stars Excellent 15″ inch Laptop bag. Too bad it is meant for 17″ too.
Really I shouldn’t be reviewing this bag since I ordered the backpack version after reading the other reviews about the spacing for a 17″ laptop. However Amazon sent the wrong one and due to geographical differences the logistics of me returning it would be ridiculous so I kept it.

Anyways the bag itself is great, fantastic quality, fully padded, loads of extra little pockets and pouches to keep your mouse /CD’s etc. This fits my 15″ HP work laptop just fine, however it is suppose to fit up to 17″ according to the description which it does not. I have a Dell M1730, I know this is a big laptop but you would have thought being an Alienware product they would have taken this into account. Inside the bag there are two compartments one has got CD holders and small pouches in to hold external HDD or mouse and the other is the padded area where the laptop should go. I have tried forcing it in but I can get no more than 5 or so inches in before it just doesn’t budge, and in any case you shouldn’t have to force it in and even if I were to be able to get it in how do I get it out?

In the end I just put it in the second compartment where all your accessories are suppose to go, it is still padded enough around the rest of the bag to not worry me about damage to the laptop, but this still doesn’t take away from the fact that I can’t use the correct area.

In conclusion if you have a 15″ laptop go for this you won’t regret it and if you have a 17″ then look for the newer Alienware bag called the Orion, it can fit 2 17″ laptops and it has the all important carry handle.

3 Stars Not enough space for lap top
I loved the lap top case as it had compartments for all my supplies. I had to send it back though because I have an Alien lap top and it did not fit right in the Alien lap top carrier. I had to force it in the carrier. I did not want to scratch my lap top so I am looking for something with more space. If you have a small lap top, 14 or 15 inch, this would be perfect.

I just got a 15.4″ widescreen laptop and it barely fit in my old bag. I had researched and read reviews of several bags. Finally decided on this one. It holds my laptop with a little room to spare and that is perfect for me. As a math teacher, I not only have papers to carry home but calculators as well. I can put everything I need for school in it and have no reason to carry a second bag – exactly what I needed. The inside is very soft and has pockets and places for all your needs. The straps feel secure and stay on my shoulder. With its stylish croco look it doesn’t look or feel like it is a laptop bag. When I do fill it up, it does get a little heavy but that is expected when carrying so much. Before this bag I would have had my laptop case and another bag full of books, papers, etc.

I received it exactly when it was due and had no issues with Amazon ordering (as usual). It is a large bag so be aware when ordering. They have a smaller version and other styles if large is not what you need.

My daughter-in-law got a new laptop and I was unable to locate a bag that did not look like a briefcase,locally. She wanted something that looked similar to a pursse. 5 Stars A Beautiful Bag for your Laptop
I am so excited to receive this bag! I don’t know if anyone else mentioned that the red interior is like a mircrofiber suede material. It is very soft and gives a soft touch to the bag. The bag is full of nicely placed compartments for your cell phone, pens, and other items. I can really see that I will not have to carry a separate handbag when I am out and about with this bag. My only wish is that it was real leather, but I think that would greatly inflate the price. You definitely get a nice bag for the price.

10 DAYS after the columbine shooting occured a state official hosted a pro guns ralley.. referring to anti fire arm remarks he stated "from my cold dead hands" wielding a rifle above his head, the crowds reaction was thunderous applause. marilyn manson cancelled his tour in respect of them even though in reality he has no blame behind it. when asked what he would have said to the boys who shot up their school he replied, "nothing. i wouls have listened to what they had to say, because no body did that for them"
who, in this situation is showing more logic and empathy to the masacre? yet who did america choose to blame?

so what was the united states reaction to the columbine shooting? they started a blits on all the kids in schools… they were no longer alowed to wear their shirts untucked, wear baggy pants, or adorn any symbols that may be related to gang associations. an 8 year old was suspended from school for bringing a pair of nail clippers to class, the authorities stating that they were a weapon. another primary school child was expelled for pointing a piece of chicken at his teacher and saying bang bang. another 8 year old was sent home after pointing a gun shaped folded piece of paper at his class mates in a game of copas and robbers. a high school boy was expelled for dying his hair blue, another for wearing a scottish outfit to his high school dance with a FAKE traditional knife attached to his kilt..

the reason kids would shoot up their high school is because they are angry at the way that they are treated there.. and now authorities have the audacity to make life even more hellish for them by suppressing them even further??? when in reality the boys responsible for columbine just walked right on in.. even if ppl had been checking their bags, the masacre would have occured ANYWAY.. the same case is with the samari incident in krugersdorp..

how can society, the peopkle of america, blame the music, the hair, the toenail clippers.. THE CHICKEN!!!! when they are so goddamn pro fire arms?? when a pro gun ralley can be run 10 days later.. when in actual fact the guns that eric harris and dylan klebold perchased to shoot up their school were actually bought leggally?

After venting like that you should have realized its not the guns that killed, it was the intent of the kids using them. Legal or illegal its the humans that use them. So yes lets rally and never loose our Constitutional right to own, carry and use them. This country is based on a Constitution and one reason the second admendment was put there was to protect ourselves and property and also protect ourselves from a goverment that wants us to abide by there policies such as Socialism, Marxism, Communism and Dictatorships.
